About

About The Artist

Renee Ross is a long time lover of all things ‘pizzaz’. Her passion for the performing arts originated seated at the piano at age 5, and has since spanned many disciplines, such as songwriting, dance, music, guitar, acting, cheerleading and even competitive figure skating. Dubbed, “a true musical theater triple threat,” by college professor Pam Stiehl, her recent theater credits include Judy Haynes in 'White Christmas', Janet Weiss in 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' or featured dancer/ensemble member in 'HAIR' and 'Cabaret'. Her rich tone and soaring belt has brought other characters to life including Natalie Goodman in 'Next to Normal' and Pips in the world premiere of 'Hearth: A Yuletide Tale'. But above all, she is most proud of her coveted role as ‘most dramatic sibling’. When not in character, Renee reflects on her own experiences in her original music like "Love Done Wrong," or "Letter to My Piano." With deeply confessional lyrics and melodies that cut straight to the heart, she has connected with audiences all over the country. Behind the scenes, she is passionate about dance education and creating award-winning choreography for both children and adults alike.
